Online Stamping Retreat!

Recently my mom and I decided to participate in an online stamping retreat. I was wondering how one would go. How would it be interactive and as fun as it is in person?

The retreat was put on by some of Stampin' Up's most amazing creators. They are a group of women that are truly inspiring. The things I loved? The tutorials...the 12 hours of live videos...Yes really 12 hours! And how the tutorials varied from basic to advanced. They did an amazing job of having something for everyone...What did I not like about it? Whenever I went to try to "rest my eyes" between videos my mom would catch a second wind and talk and make jokes such as "do you know I am staring at you?"

I did miss the in person group activity. Getting out of the house spending grown up time with crafters and creating. I did not craft along with the hosts. I made notes and watched. Each video was about 30 minutes in length and then you had between 20-30 minutes between. I did not want to feel rushed in completing the challenges they issued, or even feel rushed to create a card based on what they had created. So instead we watched and joked and ate WAY too much and enjoyed the entire day.

Below are the cards that I created based on the tutorials and challenges that were issued. I hope within the next week to have up the tutorials. It was so much fun and I can't wait for the next retreat!!
